Doncaster is Kali Hansaa market town in South Yorkshire, England. It's notable for the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, its vicinity to various historic buildings, and, apparently, incredibly attractive local government.

That's right. The Doncaster Council, a Metropolitan Borough Council, is so hot that on Monday it received a proposition to hook up.

Much to the delight of the Internet, the Doncaster Council responded.

Some made innuendos as to the town council's bedroom life, which the Doncaster Council cheekily dodged.

Sudbury, another English town, wanted in on the action.

The Doncaster Council wanted to clarify that they did not reciprocate the anonymous person's feelings. (Just in case you were wondering if human-Town Council relationships were possible.)

While the Doncaster Council definitely deserves all the love and appreciation from its passionate fans, we're glad to see it's taking its role — as a Metropolitan Borough Council responsible for providing the majority of local government services in Doncaster — seriously.
