Chadwick Boseman and his co-stars have unveiled a series of beautiful character posters for Black Panther, each with a three-word tagline that elegantly sums up its subject's motivation. That's especially helpful since most of these characters are ones we haven't seen onscreen before.

First, here's Boseman as T'Challa, the Black Panther and the recently crowned king of Wakanda. Apparently he is as awed by his costume as we are.

Here's Leticia Wright as Shuri, T'Challa's brilliant younger sister. That glove!

And Angela Bassett as Ramonda, mother of T'Challa and Shuri:

Let's look beyond the royal family now. Here's Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, member of the all-female special forces team known as the Dora Milaje.

And Danai Gurira as Okoye, another key member of the Dora Milaje.

Forest Whitaker plays Zuri, an elder statesman of Wakanda:

Daniel Kaluuya is W'Kabi, T'Challa's best friend and head of security for the Border Tribe.

Winston Duke is M'Baku, who has some issues with T'Challa's rule.

The bad guys get in on this, too. Here's Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue. We previously met him in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Plus Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, a Wakandan exile who poses a threat to T'Challa.

Black Pantherhits theaters February 6, 2018.
